Memorial Weekend 2009

We spent Saturday up Grays River with the horses and wagon. Dillon, Ashlyn, Mitch, and I decided to hike up the mountain just to see what was on the other side. It was a lot of fun until we hit a deer on the way out and were stranded for hours. Still waiting to get the Suburban back from the shop!!

Easter 2009

Okay, there was WAY too much snow in Star Valley for an egg hunt outside, but we still dyed eggs just for the fun of it! The kids had a lot of fun hiding them for each other to find. Amber and Rustin and their family came over for dinner on Easter along with John and Debra. I definitely do not consider myself the family cook, but I am willing to do it if it gets the family together. We need more time to do things like that!

Spring Break in the Rockies!!

Yippppeeee!!! Last week was Spring Break and how do we celebrate in Star Valley? Well, Sierra and her cousin Zach made a city out of icicles! But don't feel bad for us just because we are still under a few feet of snow and it is already April...there are sure signs of the onset of SPRING!! Look...the top of the trampoline frame is showing...the snow must be melting! I bet by Memorial Day we might be able to see grass!!

I was inspired this weekend (by my wonderful niece, Karamie) to give a blog a shot...again. Given my track record, I am not sure how frequently I will keep it updated, but I will try!
